Hamlet Garbage

Please help keep our Hamlets clean by ensuring that all garbage set out for collection is protected from animals.
The use of animal-proof containers is greatly encouraged.

Hamlet Garbage Pick Up

Curbside waste collection is provided to the Hamlets of Kneehill County. (Torrington, Wimborne, Huxley, Swalwell, and Sunnyslope.)

Garbage pick-up day: THURSDAY

• There is a 3 bag maximum limit
• There is a 45-pound maximum weight limit
• Only bagged household waste will be collected
• Waste such as tires, auto parts, furniture, appliances, toxic, renovation/construction waste, hazardous waste, and brush will not be collected
• Collection is curbside pick-up only
• Waste should be ready for collection by 7:00 am
• In the event that waste collection does not occur on the regularly scheduled day (inclement weather, vehicle failure, etc), collection shall occur on the following Monday
