Transfer Sites

Please note: The Drumheller Solid Waste Association has suspended their Recycling Services until further notice. As a result, Kneehill Country Transfer Stations are unable to take cardboard and newspaper recycling at this time

We ask that you please hold onto your cardboard and newspaper recycling until these services resume.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Orkney Clean Up

Orkney View Point clean up 2016

  • The Orkney View Point was cleaned up by using a helicopter to access illegally dumped garbage at the bottom of the valley. Please report any illegal dumping sightings to avoid this in the future.

We are also part of the Drumheller and District Solid Waste Association, where much of the waste is transferred for further disposal. Visit the Drumheller Landfill website for more information on the waste and recycling services available for Kneehill County residents.
