Policy 12-4, Trails and Pathways

There are many recreational areas and campgrounds throughout Kneehill County, located in areas which highlight the spectacular settings and scenery that attract numerous visitors every year.

Taking advantage of such great diversity and stunning landscapes are the following campgrounds: Keiver's Lake, Swalwell Dam, Braconnier Dam, and Torrington. In addition to Kneehill County's campgrounds are recreational areas such as the popular day use area, Horseshoe Canyon, which overlooks the dramatic geology and formations found within the Canadian Badlands.
