COVID-19 Update

With provincial health restrictions changing, Kneehill County continues to monitor and assess restrictions for our campgrounds. 

At this time, regulations will remain in place with no group camping. Should Kneehill County campground regulations change, campground guests will be notified and updated by email. 

Campgrounds

Kneehill County campgrounds are open from May 21, 2021, until September 15, 2021.

Please note the following changes for 2021: 

  • No group camping or tenting is available.

Parks and Day Use Areas

Horseshoe Canyon and Orkney Viewpoint have the following restrictions in place due to COVID-19:

  • Use at your own risk. Please continue to practice good hygiene and physical distancing when accessing these parks, and do not visit the parks if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
