New Playground and Sport Court at Keiver’s Lake Campground

Kneehill County and the Town of Three Hills cooperated on a joint project application under the Province’s Municipal Sponsorship Program and were successful in funding a new playground and sport court at the popular Keiver’s Lake Campground, located just west of Three Hills. This is the second time the two municipalities have been successful at receiving funding for a joint project. In 2009, funding was received to develop several kilometers of walking trails within the Town of Three Hills. Both municipalities believe the projects will benefit residents and visitors of both communities in enhancing recreational opportunities in their areas. The Reeve of Kneehill County and Mayor of the Town of Three Hills, in addition to several Councillors and Administration met at Keiver’s Lake to take a first-hand look at the playground equipment and celebrate the benefits of regional cooperation.
