Snowplowing & Grading Agreement

Kneehill County Snowplowing & Grading Agreement

The Council of Kneehill County now requires a Snowplowing & Grading Agreement for the clearing of private laneways. The intent of this agreement is to streamline the private laneway snowplowing/grading operations with local roadway snow removal and grading. After a verbal request for service has been placed with the Operations Department the grader operator will plow or grade the requested laneway, but only once all Kneehill County roads have been cleared. The Owner will be invoiced the minimum fee of $50.00 for up to 1/2 hour of service. If the Owner requires additional clearing to be carried out (clearing bins, etc.) they will be charged at the rate of $90.00 per hour. Kneehill County is unable to provide snow removal or grading services to any ratepayer who has not signed the Snowplowing & Grading Agreement.

The private laneway Snowplowing & Grading Agreement can be completed at the Kneehill County office in Three Hills, or sent out by fax or mail. Grading & Snowplowing Agreements are also available for download on our County website, at www.kneehillcounty.com. To avoid a delay in service we request, all those requiring this service to complete an agreement soon as possible. Individuals who have participated in the previous year's Grading & Snowplowing will receive a copy of the agreement in the mail, to be completed and returned to the office.
