Snowplowing of private driveways is available to County residents. Residents are required to place a yellow or red marker at the end of their lane where it can readily be seen by the operator. The ratepayer is responsible to take down the marker once the work has been done.
With the exception of emergency situations, plowing private driveways will be ranked as a second priority.
The rate for snowplowing (as per Policy) is $70.00 per hour plus GST, with a minimum charge of $25.00 plus GST.

Announcing the Kneehill County 2010 Dust Control Program.
Kneehill County is offering a rebate of $1.50 per lineal
foot on dust control treatment at the ratepayer’s choice of Calcium Chloride for
a minimum of 400’ or Spec Crude for a minimum of 200’, to a maximum of 800’ in
front of the ratepayer’s residence. The rebate applies to applications of 400’
of Calcium Chloride or up to 800’ of Spec Crude. Please stop by the County office to complete
the Dust Control Agreement forms. For

IMPORTANT:
To be eligible for the rebate, your agreement for Dust Control must be received
at the County office by 3:30 P.M., Monday,

program, on any agreements received after the May 31, 2010 deadline.
