Council established a policy on June 24, 2003, to support community organizations that bring a broad range of enjoyment, benefit and participation to Kneehill County .  Council approved funding as an interim measure, and not to be relied on as a continuing source of revenue.  The amount and availability of grants each year is determined by Council at their annual budget. 

There are two (2) application and distribution dates each year:

a)  The first application deadline is the first week of February with the actual deadline date to be selected by administration.  The funds are to be allocated by April 1^st, with Council to determine the method of distribution.

b)  The second application deadline is September 3rd 2010  with the actual date selected by administration.  The funds are to be allocated by November 1^st, with Council to determine the method of distribution.
